How this started

Wade Tanner had worked construction and hauling around Creek County and the west Tulsa metro for years when he started the company with a single truck and one container in 2015. He'd spent long enough on job sites to know exactly what went wrong with dumpsters: containers that turned up late or in the wrong size, prices that changed once the load crossed a scale, and out-of-town haulers who didn't know the local landfill, the burn-ban rules, or how heavy this red clay gets after a rain.

The idea was simple: run it like a Sapulpa outfit that actually knows Sapulpa. A dozen years in, the operating principle hasn't moved: tell people the truth about what they need, protect the property, keep the job clean, know exactly where the debris goes, and charge the number that was quoted.

What we actually do differently

We know the local rules and the landfill. In Sapulpa construction and renovation debris is the property owner's responsibility, the city trash won't haul it, and Oklahoma's burn bans usually rule out burning it. So a real project's debris goes the short distance to the Creek County Landfill right here in town, under a covered load, with tires and appliances routed to the right place. We know that framework cold and keep the job clean and compliant. On the day, that's the whole job.

We recommend smaller containers. This one surprises people. Dense material - tile, old plaster, concrete and the wet red clay - reaches a container's tonnage allowance while it still looks half empty. Recommending the 15 yard instead of the 20, or a dedicated 10 for the concrete, costs us revenue and saves the customer money. We do it anyway.

We're built for Oklahoma weather. Storm cleanup is a way of life in Tornado Alley, not an exception. When a spring storm or a hail event comes through and the whole area needs containers at once, being a local crew is what lets us respond - and we size a storm container to the mixed debris and get it out fast.

One number, covered loads. The flat rate covers delivery, the rental period, collection, the disposal and a stated tonnage allowance, with the overage rate quoted in the same breath. And every load leaves tarped and secured for the haul. No fuel surcharge, no environmental fee appearing on an invoice for the first time.

Why local knowledge matters here

Sapulpa is the seat of Creek County and a historic Route 66 town on the western edge of the Tulsa metro - the self-styled Most Connected City in Oklahoma, shaped by the Frisco railroad, the oil boom and the Mother Road, with our own yard just over the line in west Tulsa. That range splits the work several ways. New construction and additions in the growing metro subdivisions produce bulky, light debris that wants a larger container. Gut renovation of the older downtown and Route 66-era homes gives up dense plaster-and-lath. Roof tear-offs need their own box. And nearly every job that moves earth hits the heavy, wet red clay.

• Wade Tanner — Owner & Founder. Years in local construction and hauling before starting the company. Still takes sizing calls, particularly on anything involving concrete, red clay, old plaster-and-lath demolition or a tricky downtown placement.
• Shane Pruett — Operations Manager. Runs the schedule, the swaps and the contractor and property-management accounts, and knows which runs across Creek County and the metro a loaded truck can and can't make in a day. If you need a same-day swap, he's the one who makes it happen.
• Dalton Hobbs — Lead Driver. Has been placing containers on Green Country driveways for years and sizes a load by eye better than most. If he says a 30 won't fit your lot, it won't.
• Kayla Renfro — Customer Care Lead. First voice on the phone most mornings, and the person who will walk you through the local rules, what can and can't go in the container, and where the tires, appliances and hazardous items need to go.
